About JWA Construction Management
Construction has been part of the Weatherup family for 60+ years. Joy Weatherup Anthis started learning about it as a teenager with Central Fence and Central Control Systems collecting over 24 years of experience. Since then, she has held several positions in various aspects of construction which have all culminated in this company, JWA Construction Management. We strive to become the benchmark for effective construction management as we venture into the second decade of this century. JWA has WBE certifications for the State of New York, City of Syracuse and Onondaga County as well. Joy views the company role as one of collaboration with our clients to a successful project close-out both financially and expeditiously.
David was the founder of the Central Companies and now, we use his MANY years of experience in the construction field as a consultant in the areas of Business Development. Though he consults for other companies as well, he has mentored us through our growth. Suffice it to say, "retirement" is not in his vocabulary!

Christina came to us after OCC with a desire to change the industry in which she worked. It quickly became evident that her attention to detail fits perfectly with the documentation and record keeping necessary for the commercial/municipal construction industry.

Rick has over 30 yrs in the construction management field with experience in virtually all phases of commercial construction from site development to new retail and multi-unit higher education building projects.
With a degree in Construction Management Engineering from SUNY ESF and 17 years in the field, Steve is a perfect addition to our Construction Management team.
Melissa joined us in February 2015 to head up the project engineering process for the Onondaga County Lakeview Amphitheater. She has been a versatile member of our staff making every task seem easy. Currently managing the technical duties for two SUNY Upstate projects.
